To raise a claim on your Home Emergency or Home Emergency and Boiler cover, please call our helpline which is open 24/7, 365 days a year.

- Gas leaks must be immediately notified to the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 before calling our claims team.
Our Home Emergency and Boiler cover is designed to assist you in the event of an emergency therefore, our claims team aim to be in contact with you and work towards finding a resolution within 24 hours of the claim being raised.
At BIG Warranties we don’t believe that your policy should be limited to one claim per year. We believe in a comprehensive policy that covers you for up to 3 claims per year should they occur. There is a claims limit of of up to £5,000 per year, and up to £2,500 per claim (inclusive of VAT).
When you raise a claim. our claims team will be in contact with you to to verify your identity and gather details about your emergency. We will then talk you through your coverage and outline the next appropriate steps. If your claim is accepted, our claims helpline will source a suitable, approved contractor to attend your home and address the emergency promptly.
This depends on what you select when you set up the policy. We offer a £95, £60 or no excess option. There is a minimum compulsory excess of £60 on all claims made within the first 90 days of cover if you have selected no excess.
No, your claim won't be automatically declined if it exceeds the limit. Instead, we will offer you the option to pay the difference if you're willing to do so.
Yes, if it has not been possible to resolve your emergency, you will be provided with overnight accommodation up to the value of £250.
If we deem your boiler beyond economical repair and it is under 6 years old, we will provide a £500 contribution towards the cost of replacing your boiler so your home will have heating and hot water once again without compromising the quality of your heating system. If your boiler is over 6 years of age and we deem it beyond economical repair, then we will give you a contribution of £250.
If you have a landlord policy and we deem it beyond economical repair, we will give you a contribution of £250.
Please note the boiler replacement contribution does not apply within the first 30 days of your policy start date.
Yes, you can claim up to 3 times a year which covers and includes call outs, parts and labour.
